I am Rustam Babaiev, a Ukrainian DJ and researcher of DJ culture.

I started as a musician in the late 1990s and later moved into DJing.

In 1997, I entered a nightclub for the first time — an experience that shaped my path. After several years of exploration, I began performing as a DJ in 2001.

For many years, music was my primary occupation. Today, I combine DJ practice with research, focusing on the history, aesthetics, and socio-cultural transformations of DJ culture.
